Gallipoli is a stunning coastal town located in the Apulia region of southern Italy, on the Ionian coast of the Salento peninsula. It feels like real Italy.
Far from the maddening crowds, its streets are charming and its people are friendly. There is a richness to life in Gallipoli that I have never experienced anywhere else.
