About
Arran Cross is a UK-based documentary photographer and filmmaker whose work bridges the gap between commercial commissions and deeply personal storytelling.
Arran’s photography is characterised by a cinematic sensibility, blending natural light with a meticulous attention to detail. His commercial projects often highlight craftsmanship and authenticity, reflecting the ethos of the brands he collaborates with.
In his personal work, Arran explores themes of place, memory, and transformation, confronting the interplay between human presence and natural landscapes and the subtle tensions and harmonies that define these environments .
In 2017, alongside his wife Fern, Arran co-founded of the creative studio Department Two.
